| BC-Brandschutz-Schott S 90/Kombi in the fire resistance class S 90 according to DIN 4102-9 |
When exposed to heat, the products BC-Brandschutz-Farbe (paint), BC-Brandschutz-Farbe viskos (paint viscous) and BC-Brandschutz-Spachtel (putty) form a micro-porous insulating layer of foam. On the basis of its low thermal conductivity and the exclusion of oxygen, this insulating layer protects the cables and other inflammable surfaces against fire and the effects of heat.
The system BC-Brandschutz-Schott S 90/Kombi for walls and ceilings enables the insertion of one or more different types of services through a penetration seal in accordance with the certification, for example:
- Electric cables and wires of all kinds, fibre optic cables and cable bundles
- Cable carrier constructions made of steel, aluminium and plastic
- Non-inflammable pipes made of steel, copper, stainless steel or cast iron
- Inflammable pipes made of plastic (standard B1 and B2 qualities) up to 160 mm in diameter
- Individual pipes made of steel or plastic for control purposes up to max. 15 mm in diameter
- Bunched pipes consisting of plastic pipes with stainless steel casing
The manufacturer recommends the pipe collar types “A-FOX” and “A-FOX plus” or UNIFOX and UNIFOX plus with certification number Z-19.17-1191 for suitable pipes made of inflammable plastics when dealing with the system S 90 /Kombi for walls and ceilings. |
