| Fire protection mortar M 30 - OPTI |
|
Protection against the spread of fire in locking appliances, ventilation and air conditioning shafts, pipes, fire protection collars for plastic pipes, fire protection doors and fire protection flaps using pump-compatible fire-protection mortar in the mortar group III according to DIN 1053 for manual and mechanical processing.
The plant dry mortar according to DIN 18557 is self-compressing, insulates against fire and smoke and forms an extremely robust bond with its base and is also very strong. It consists of mineral bonding agents (no gypsum) and additives; it does not contain any phenol, asbestos or halogen constituents.
The width of the joints around fire protection flaps that require mortaring is dependent on the manufacturer’s specifications. However, the nature of processing may also exert an influence on the width of the joint, as mortaring by hand generally necessitate joint than in preliminary mortaring with a compression method (e.g. with the MEHLAG mortar torpedo).
This product is used to mortar in "fire protection collars".
Yield: 1 sack (=25 kg) yields approx. 17.3 litres of wet mass. Required water: 4.5-4.8 litres.
Package form: 25 kg sacks
